Welcome to the first edition of our BGBU Newsletter.
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
As we come to the end of the month of July, so many exciting activities have been happening through out the month. Special thanks to all those who participated in the BGBU Week 2023 in their Dioceses and Companies. this year we have seen more companies undertaking various activities to reach out to their communities. Thank you so much!
In the coming month of August, we shall be hosting the East African Region Young Leaders’ Conference from 26th to 30th August 2023 in Kyamate Secondary School, Ntungamo District. Some Participants have already registered and confirmed their attendance for this event. check out the details for this event in our events section and feel free to register to be part of it.

BGBU Week Highlights
The BGBU Week 2023 was held from 1st to 8th 2023 under the theme “Behold I make all things new, Rev. 21:5“. Various Dioceses in the country including South Rwenzori Diocese, Diocese of Kampala, North West Ankole Diocese among others participated. This year a range of activities were carried out as Members and Officers reached out to their communities. these activities included cleaning up the trading centers and health centers, visiting the sick and praying for them, kerb painting at church premises, school ministry and BGBU Week Collections. Special thanks to all Officers and Members who took part in these events. Bible Competitions
Diocese of Kigezi has been having Bible Competitions between various schools in the Diocese from 26th July 2023 and the Grand Finale will be on 5th August 2023 at Kigezi High School Primary Play Ground. Various schools have taken part in these competitions and we pray for a successful completion. May the best team Win.

Age group : 14-30 years. Senior Officers are also welcome
Fee: 50,000 UGX for Ugandans
60 USD for East Africans
150 USD for International Participants
